Born on the heavy-metal-infused soil of the Ruhr Area and raised on a foundation of stoner rock, psychedelic rock and heavy metal, Aeon Temple stands – a band headed towards the most remote musical realms with curiosity and passion. Influences from post, doom, and prog, as well as the blending of different genres, are explicitly welcome.

Aeon Temple loves to be on stage, taking the audience on a ride of emotions, melding people and music into one. Their penchant for dramatic and dark sounds and atmospheres aside, the trio remains a bunch of beer-loving goofballs: Claus (vocals, guitar), Filzi (bass), and Ruhrbert (drums).

The new album »Resurfaced« leads through different stages of life and is carried by the symbolism of the four elements. It takes the listener on a journey through the pleasures and vices of earthly life, the incessantly burning fire, and an excessive detour along an arduous path by the water, leading to the infinite, overwhelming sea itself, and concluding with finding oneself in the eye of the storm; war and peace gathered in one place.

True to the saying “good things come to those who wait”, the album’s release coincides with the tenth anniversary of the self-titled debut EP. Life had to be lived for a sonic work like »Resurfaced« to emerge.
