»Dejlig er Jorden« is the debut album from the Danish post- and black metal band Heksproces. Thematically, the album is rooted in the pervasive sense of apocalypse that defines our era – a time in which tech oligarchs, climate change, and accelerating inequality threaten our sense of order in the world.
Each song centers on the emotions of an individual (or a collective) confronting the realization that civilization stands on the brink of transformative collapse. The album invites the listener into an ambivalent landscape of apocalyptic moods, spanning anguish, powerlessness, presence, and nostalgia.
