New Zealand atmospheric doom/blackgaze duo Dreamweb premiere debut single and music video »Call Of The Void«

Wellington, New Zealand based atmospheric doom/blackgaze duo Dreamweb has released their debut single »Call Of The Void« on March 13th, 2026, accompanied by an official music video.

Dreamweb comments: “We are very excited to share our new song »Call Of The Void« with you, and to reveal a new direction for Dreamweb.

Until about 8 weeks ago, this project was little more than an outlet for our less palatable musical impulses, and a space for the two of us to experiment outside of our usual roles. That changed one weekend in January when we stumbled into something far more potent and visceral than anything we’d been exploring previously… We completed writing and recording »Call Of The Void« within two weeks and had a final mix in just over a month…. when things fall into place that easily, you know you’re on the right path.

The vocals you hear on this release are an unrehearsed and unedited recording of the very first scratch demo, only minutes after the lyrics were penned. You are hearing the first time this song was ever sung.

We’re looking forward to seeing where this new path takes us!”

Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Dreamweb started as an experimental noise/drone project last year which has recently morphed into something more resembling atmospheric doom metal.
