The bands:
Ten Ton Slug (Ireland)
Ten Ton Slug plays riff-filled sludge from the west of Ireland and has toured in the UK, Europe, the USA and Sub-Saharan Africa alongside supporting major acts in the genre since 2014 including Black Label Society, Crowbar, EyeHateGod and many more. New music on the way in 2026. Catch the Slug on tour in Ireland with Clutch this May (more info HERE).
Dog Tired (Scotland)
Dog Tired are a 3 piece death metal band from Scotland with an unhealthy obsession for riffs. For 22 years they have decimated stages and festivals across the UK and Ireland as well as mainland Europe from Belgium to Norway. Their 6th album is due later in 2026 and is shaping up to be their heaviest and best to date.
Diggeth (Netherlands)
Diggeth hails from the Netherlands and combines Hard Rock, Metal, Southern Rock and a bit of Progressive Rock to form their own sound with heavy grooves and hooks. Formed in 2004, the band delivers explosive performances and has shared stages with major acts such as Exodus, Megadeth and Slayer. A follow-up to the double album ‘Zero Hour in Doomtown’ is due for release later in the year.
Hylko (Japan)
Hylko are a stoner rock trio from Tokyo featuring electric bass, drums and tribal instruments. A gritty, jazzed-up, fuzzed-out stoner psych manifesto dipped in a delicious sauce of Japanese weirdness and tribal percussion. New album currently in the works.
All hail the underground.
