UK sludge/doom/noise duo Kulk signs with Church Road Records and releases new single »Ache«!

Norfolk, UK based sludge/doom/noise duo Kulk has signed with Church Road Records.

To celebrate the announcement, Kulk released a brand new single »Ache«. Available now for streaming on all major digital platforms.

The band comments: “We’re so very honoured to announce that we have signed to Church Road Records, so stoked to be working with them. Our new single »Ache« is out now!

It’s also a pleasure to record again with the bestest Wayne Adams at Bear Bites Horse and also to welcome Hannah Asprey’s, of the band IAN, devastatingly beautiful cello on this track.

»Ache« is not only for our friend Meg, who we lost in 2023, it’s for all of us left behind. This track is the first we had written after she died and has opened our shows for a while now. »Ache« describes living with grief after years. It’s not the immense pain of the first few days, but it’s ever present and consistent. Like a broken bone that hasn’t healed right, it has changed the way we move, act and think, always there never letting up.”
