Bloodroot is a sludge/death metal band from Blythewood, South Carolina, formed in 2021. An idea to mix two subgenres was born with the creation of Bloodroot. The band’s albums journey through different themes and stories. Bloodroot is a one-man project headed entirely by Joe Henning. Bloodroot has endured many hardships but will continue to release music to those who find the style appealing.
