US doom/sludge metal trio Stone Nomads announce summer tour, 2 new singles on Ripple Music & Gravitoyd Doomfest appearance!

Texas powerhouse doom-sludge metal trio Stone Nomads announce the first leg of their 2026 US tour, with 10 dates spanning the Midwest & Mid-Atlantic throughout the summer. The trek features 2 festival appearances – Gravitoyd Doomfest IV in Houston TX & MD Doomfest Presents Knights Of Doom in Frederick MD, as well as a Ripple Music 15th Anniversary Showcase celebration in Chicago, IL. Leading up to and coinciding with the tour, the band will also be releasing 2 new singles digitally on Ripple Music – »Prophecy« on May 1st, and »The IVth Crusade« on May 29th, which will premiere on Sirius XM Liquid Metal May 28th and throughout the release weekend. The singles will be available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

The band is currently in the studio with legendary producer Randy Burns (Megadeth, Death, Possessed) starting pre-production on their 4th album (2nd to be released on Ripple Music).

Stone Nomads is an American doom-sludge metal power trio based in Houston TX. The band, formed by Jon Cosky (guitar/vocals) and Jude Sisk (bass/vocals) in 2021, incorporates the sounds of early doom metal, modern sludge metal and all things heavy. Conceptually, the band explores the journey of life and death through the heavier and darker side of things, delivered via sludged-out, powerful riff-based sonics.

Influences range from the classic doom of Sabbath, Trouble, and Candlemass to the more sludge-laden sounds of Crowbar, Conan, Obituary and all things in between. The band is signed to Ripple Music and have released 3 full length LP’s to date (2022’s »Fields Of Doom«, 2023’s »…At The Gates Of Solitude«, 2025’s »Empires Of Stone«) and 1 EP (»Beyond The Gates«).

Stone Nomads have shared the stage with icons and scene leaders Crowbar, Conan, Soulfly, EyeHateGod, Weedeater, The Obsessed, Khemmis, Spirit Adrift, Elder, Mothership, among others and played multiple festivals and tours throughout the US.
