The highly anticipated 2nd full-length by this Australian band. Crawling from beneath the bloody earth in 2022, Malignant Aura gathered widespread accolades for with their debut full-length, »Abysmal Misfortune Is Draped Upon Me«. Their sorrowful melodies and crushing riffs forged brutally authentic live shows, captivating audiences across Australia alongside genre stalwarts like Esoteric and Mournful Congregation.
Now, the band lurch forward with their 2nd album, »Where All Of Worth Comes To Wither«. A full-length descent into the depths of human despair, »Where All Of Worth Comes To Wither« is a harrowing blend of death and doom metal: vicious, somber and triumphant. As aptly titled as its no-less-considerable predecessor, »Where All Of Worth Comes To Wither« sees Malignant Aura both expanding and contracting their sound, broadening its sonic possibilities whilst focusing the songwriting for maximum, abyss-ward effect. Malignant Aura are unafraid of the titanic; where the debut album encompassed 6 songs in 53 minutes, this new one comprises a more concise and powerful 46 minutes spread across 5 songs.

Consequently, their brand of tortured and lumbering death/doom metal (with especially emphasis on the death) bridges both modern and classic sounds, drawing inspiration from a pool as varied as Incantation, Paradise Lost, Virgin Black, Hooded Menace, Mournful Congregation, Candlemass, Disembowelment, Pallbearer, Katatonia, Asphyx and My Dying Bride. Through labyrinths do those 5 equally epic songs each move about; »Where All Of Worth Comes To Wither« covers a vast swath of territory, but the sum effect is stultifying and compelling in equal measure.
The esteemed Paolo Girardi (Manilla Road, Firespawn, Officium Triste) lends his signature touch to the album’s cover artwork, completely suiting the dark, dreadful emotion of its contents. Malignant Aura will show you Where All of Worth Comes to Wither!
