Caverion is a doom metal band with elements of folk and death metal, founded in 2024 by Mikhail Borisov (Tuutarilainen). The band’s music is inspired by the classic sounds of Northern European metal, but with its own distinct sound concept.
Caverion’s first full-length album, »Between Two Worlds«, has a profound and multi-layered title. The central theme is the intersection of harsh reality and the magical world of nature, mythology, and folklore of the Baltic-Finnish peoples. These themes are intertwined throughout the album.
The album surpasses the previous EP, »Baltic Shores«, in its complexity, technicality, and layering. The new release is rich with abundant guitar melodies and solos, intertwined with acoustic and synthesizer parts.

Tuutarilainen, the project’s creator, used tube amps, the legendary HM-2 distortion pedal, and vintage microphones to record the guitars.
Puer Noctis designed the cover art, inspired by the landscapes of the Oredezh River. He also performed the main mixing, shaped the sound, and contributed vocals and guitar to the album’s title track.
Veralden Olmai (Regolith Records) handled the final mastering on an analog studio mixing console.
