Italian sludge death crushers Carcharodon unleash »Putrid Future« music video; track confirmed for upcoming Bloodwater TTRPG soundtrack!

Liguria, Italy based sludge death crushers Carcharodon have unleashed the official music video for their latest single »Putrid Future«, delivering a raw and punishing audiovisual experience that embodies the band’s long-standing devotion to pure riff-driven extremity.

Flying the banner of “Pure Riff Worship since 2003,” Carcharodon continue to carve out their niche with a filthy blend of turbosludge weight and old-school death metal aggression. Fans of Entombed, Bolt Thrower, and Obituary will feel right at home in the band’s dense wall of distortion and groove-laden brutality.

While »Putrid Future« stands on its own as a standalone single and video release, the track will also be featured as part of the upcoming Bloodwater tabletop role-playing game soundtrack. In addition, Carcharodon are contributing further material to the project, strengthening their presence within the game’s bleak and violent universe.

Published by Swimming with Sharks Entertainment and Zombie Shark Games, Bloodwater is the brainchild of Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter, The Browning, Jeffrey Nothing). The game plunges players into a savage oceanic nightmare filled with cursed treasure, monstrous threats, and the looming terror of the Sharklord, Kharkass.

“Carcharodon’s sound feels like it crawled straight out of the depths of Bloodwater,” says Robertson. “It’s dark, crushing, primal, and exactly the kind of energy this world demands.”

With multiple tracks set to appear on the soundtrack, Carcharodon help anchor the sonic identity of Bloodwater, which draws inspiration from cult favorites like Mörk Borg and Pirate Borg, blending fast, brutal gameplay with a grim and immersive setting.
