Weak Aside is a death metal band based in Emden, Germany. Formed in 2006 (as Spearhead), the band currently features members of Karloff, Phantom Corporation, Fearer, Satan’s Blood, Vomiting Corpses, For Victory & more.
After three years of silence and a change in the guitar ranks, Weak Aside returned with their third full-length album, »Forward Into Darkness«, in September 2018 via FDA Records.
The title speaks for itself. The German death metal force delivers ten crushing and explosive tracks, forged with intensity and precision. »Forward Into Darkness« channels aggression, atmosphere and relentless drive into a record that grips the listener from the first note to the last.
The album was recorded at Desert Inn Studio and mixed and mastered by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studio. The striking artwork was created by Necromaniac Artworks, perfectly capturing the album’s dark and uncompromising spirit.
