San Diego heavy psych power trio Phantom Logic dives into twin-guitar beauty and chaos on their debut »Salton Dust«. The album turns long-form improvisation into structured compositions while keeping the guitar work loose enough to collide, stretch, and erupt.

Wah-driven guitars weave in and out of heavy grooves as spacey, slow-burn stretches build intensity and break into high-gain, frenetic release. Riffs stretch, fracture, and reform as the band pushes into new sonic territory.

Favoring feel, chemistry, and instinct over technical showmanship, »Salton Dust« captures the untamed, high-intensity edge at the heart of heavy psych.

Recorded with a balance of raw live energy and studio depth, »Salton Dust« is a full-album collaboration with Isaiah Mitchell, whose playing and creative input became an essential part of the record’s identity. The sessions capture explosive twin-guitar interplay anchored by a rhythm section that drives the album’s heaviest and most propulsive moments. Produced, recorded and mixed by Ben Moore at Singing Serpent.
