UK sludge/doom metal trio Blüdwyrm unleash debut single »The Vultures«; »The Blissful Sleep Of Ignorance« EP out June 5th on Road To Masochist!

Bournemouth, UK based sludge/doom metal trio Blüdwyrm has unleashed a visualiser video for the first single »The Vultures« taken from their debut EP, »The Blissful Sleep Of Ignorance«, scheduled for release on June 5th, 2026 via Road To Masochist.

Blüdwyrm are a Dorset based sludge/doom trio delivering a crushing blend of down tuned riffs, dense atmosphere, and intensity. Their sound pairs the weight of doom with the raw edge of sludge, driven by harsh, commanding vocals. The band uses their influences to form a unique take on the genre, fusing multiple elements with focus on breakdowns and space. Lyrically, the band explores themes of existence, perception, loneliness and their view of the world, channelling both introspection and unease. As part of the South Coast’s growing underground, Blüdwyrm are carving out their place through a steady run of live shows across the south.
