Kroka return with »Believe It«, an LP of just under 34 minutes of road-worn heavy rock built around themes of unexplained phenomena, isolation, and the blurred line between fact and fiction.
The highly-anticipated debut album was released May 22, 2026 via Black Throne Productions, with vinyl and digital editions available. »Believe It« arrives as a tightly focused full-length shaped by years of road mileage and slow refinement. The album explores stories of unexplained encounters and fractured perception, with each track circling variations of the same unease.
Produced by Jason Taylor of The Obsessed, engineered by Frank Marchand, and mastered by Alan Douches, »Believe It« sits in a familiar space similar to Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss and 1000mods but avoids easy categorization and maintains its own individuality.
“Renowned for their electrifying live performances, soulful dual vocals, and asphalt-tinged desert rock grooves, Kroka has meticulously crafted a sound that is both raw and heavy, yet melodically rich and emotionally resonant. Their music features low-slung, fuzz-drenched riffs, thunderous rhythms, and soaring vocal lines, delivering a sonic punch that seamlessly merges the primal power of classic stoner rock with the catchy hooks synonymous with contemporary radio hits.”

Known for their electrifying live shows, soulful dual vocals, and asphalt-tinged desert rock grooves, Kroka have carved out a sound that’s as raw and heavy as it is melodic and emotionally resonant. With low-slung, fuzz-drenched riffs, thunderous rhythms, and soaring vocal lines, the band delivers a sonic punch primal classic stoner rock and earworm hooks you won’t be able to get out of your head.
Formed in Kitchener, Ontario in 2021, with members originally from the UK, Sweden, and Canada, Kroka is named after the Swedish word for “hook” – a nod both to the band’s knack for writing addictive, melody-driven songs and to their desire to grab audiences and carry them on an emotional journey. Drawing inspiration from mythology, philosophy, and the grit of a life well-lived, Kroka’s music blurs the line between the mystical and the mundane, the ancient and the contemporary, and challenges listeners to confront those things that lurk in the dark corners of our own minds.
At the heart of Kroka’s sound is a unique chemistry: a deep love for heavy music tempered by a commitment to clarity, groove, and simplicity. The band blends the gritty, slow-burning intensity of stoner rock with tight, layered vocal harmonies and an undeniably catchy sensibility – resulting in songs that are as headbang-worthy as they are hummable. Whether on stage or in the studio, Kroka invites listeners on a voyage – through myth and memory, dive bars and desert highways, and ultimately, into themselves.
