Argentinian stoner rock band R U I D O announces new lineup and plans for next album!

Mendoza, Argentina based stoner rockers R U I D O share some news about the band and lineup changes.
Says the band: “After a long search, we finally found the right drummer for this new chapter: Gino Bailone. However, shortly afterward, Rober Aguilar, R U I D O’s founding bassist, decided to leave the band for personal reasons. This meant starting a new search to complete the lineup, which eventually led to Luis Sanguinet joining us on bass.
Now, with Gino behind the drums and Luis on bass, we’re ready to get back on track, plan upcoming shows, and start working on the follow-up to »6 Monedas para Caronte«.
We’d also like to invite everbody to visit our website, where you can find more information about the band and check out our material: somosruido.netlify.app.”
In the shadow of the Aconcagua and under the heat of the Cuyo desert, R U I D O began to take shape in January 2023, in the basement of a rehearsal room in downtown Mendoza, led by Ariel Karlen and Rober Aguilar.
With the arrival of Germán Trigueiro Soler on vocals and Horacio Aguilar on drums, the project began taking shape and carving out a place in Mendoza’s stoner scene, back then under the name Caronte.
In July 2025 the first EP arrives. A record that marks a before and after, not only in sound but also in the band’s identity. Before its release, Horacio leaves the group and, amid that chaos, Caronte was left behind and R U I D O was born.
But the story doesn’t stop there. After the release come new changes: Gino Bailone joins the drums and Rober takes another path, with Luis Sanguinet entering in his place, leaving Ariel and Germán as the only members still standing since the beginning.
Today, R U I D O rises once again over its own ruins, looking ahead, with the volume turned up and new songs taking shape.
Because some bands are born from a plan, but R U I D O was born from noise.
R U I D O is:
