Belgian occult doom rock sextet Wolvennest presents their new three-track EP »In The Ruins«; out now via Consouling Sounds!

Brussels, Belgium based occult doom rock sextet Wolvennest has just released their new three-track EP »In The Ruins« on November 6th, 2026 via Consouling Sounds.

Tracklist:
01. The Weakness (feat. Daryl Parson)
02. Transcendance
03. In The Ruins

Wolvennest commented: “May the procession in the ruins of a broken world never stop.

While our previous effort was a long journey that started with rebellion and ended with ethereal visions of the last glimpse of existence, »In The Ruins«, shorter by nature, deals with primeval weakness, transcendence through dreams, the birth of a cult, and the final demise. Don’t see »In The Ruins« as a collection of leftovers: we care about every release, and this EP is no exception. You’ll find ingredients from our past, present and future, all aligned under the banner of damnation.

Feel free to have a listen, dear fanatics, and feel free to support Consouling Sounds (vinyl and digipack) or us directly through our Bandcamp.

Speaking of which: it’s Bandcamp Friday. To be totally honest, we had considered raising the prices of our albums on this platform, as life is getting more expensive. But for that very same reason, we won’t do it. We’ll stick to the good old “name your price” principle. And frankly, we’d rather have you add the album to your Bandcamp collection and give it a proper listening session than see you go to Spotify and get lost among billions of songs.

Our ninth release is also an opportunity to thank you all: when we started this weird band back in 2013/2014, we would never have imagined building such a discography. Really, thank you for your long-standing support, your kindness after shows, and all the little conversations, both online and offline.

It’s a privilege to be part of your personal soundtrack, and rest assured, we intend to keep creating and performing.

Love and wisdom to all of you. We hope »In The Ruins« will find its place in your souls.”

The procession in the ruins of a broken world continues. Recorded in parallel of Wolvennest’s massive double LP »Procession«, the EP »In The Ruins« goes a step further. This is a dark trip and a portal to the forbidden world, forged by 6 corrupted souls. Still psychedelic and still based on riffs and strong atmospheres, »In The Ruins« may be “just” 26 minutes, but is a constant threat and a reminder that the end is near.
