UK blackened death/doom metal outfit Callous dropped their debut EP »Nothing More«

Middlesbrough, UK based blackened death/doom metal outfit Callous is streaming their debut EP, »Nothing More«, which was just released on April 20th, 2024.

Mastermind Callum Abbott comments: “Callous started as Septic Cross with a couple of friends (Cal&Pat) in 2019, we demoed out a song and it was going good… it then got forgotten about with the pandemic and what not but I thought I’d finish what I had envisioned for it. I’m super proud of what we did back then and what I have done with it now, probably in part for a weird nostalgia kick haha.

Big props to Calum Anthony for the original bass riff’s on »Blackened Skies«, it makes the song for me! Also Pat Duffy the original vocalist on the original demo for 2019, you’re a total beast dude!

Written, recorded, mixed and mastered by me. I do all the instrumentation on this EP, even the dicy vocals haha (Sorry).
