Danish band Grusom, formed in 2013, is known for their beautiful blend of psychedelic rock and metal, heavily inspired by the 1970s rock scene, with clear nods to bands like The Doors, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath. This fusion has created a unique and powerful sonic identity, earning them a loyal fanbase both in Denmark and abroad.

Their award-winning debut album, »Grusom I«, was released in 2015 via Kozmik Artifactz and received widespread acclaim both in Denmark and internationally. The album showcased the band’s ability to write music with groove, melody, and solid songwriting.

In 2018, Grusom released their second album, »Grusom II« – an even more ambitious record than their debut. The album cemented the band’s ability to create atmospheric soundscapes that were both heavy and hypnotic.

After some intense years, the band took a well-earned break – a necessary pause that allowed space for reflection and renewed energy. In 2023, they returned to the live stage with fantastic performances at Metal Magic Festival and Copenhagen Metal Fest.

Revival:

Today, Grusom stands as one of Denmark’s most exciting and innovative rock bands, with a devoted following and a reputation for delivering powerful and unforgettable live experiences. Their music continues to evolve, attracting new listeners while preserving their place as a vital force on the Danish rock scene.
