Sapata’s mysterious and soulful third album darkens autumn!
Tampere-based doom metal band Sapata’s third album Veins was released in the middle of the brightest and darkest autumn on October 3rd, 2025. After a long period of composing, the band’s sound is now even more unified, which has resulted in a darkly beautiful and powerful album that is both touching and grating.
The album release was celebrated with a gig on October 3rd at Bar Kotelo in Tampere, where the band played »Veins« in its entirety. What made the event exclusive is that this was the only opportunity to hear the captivating voice of the band’s departing Saara Šamane performing these songs live before her departure.
Sapata is a progressive heavy doom metal band based in Tampere, Finland. Formed in 2014, the group has released two full-length albums, »Satanibator« (2017), »No Sun To Embrace« (2021), and the EP »Reflections« (2018).
