October 24, 2025 (Los Angeles, Calf.) – Dawn Fades’ horror-themed music video for album track »Drugs« premieres at Decibel Magazine HERE. Their new studio album, »III«, is available as vinyl LP and digital formats worldwide this Friday HERE. Dawn Fades will celebrate their record release with a live show on Thursday, November 6th, 2025 in Los Angeles at Knucklehead Hollywood (6202 Santa Monica Blvd.). The bands Qaalm and Destroy Judas will join them. Tickets HERE.
“This band isn’t for everyone,” says Sam Sherwood (Dawn Fades founder, vocalist, songwriter). “This band is for us. We make what we want to hear and we hope fans will want to hear it too. It is more important than ever, the world being in the state that it is in, to keep creating.”

»III«, was recorded and produced by Dawn Fades in 2023-2024. Drums were recorded with Josh Newell (Intronaut, Linkin Park, NPR Tiny Desk Technical Director) and mixed by Mario Quintero (Spotlights). Their previous two albums (Dawn Fades, Ode) were release by Metal Assault Records in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
Dawn Fades fuses post-metal’s dynamic depth with heavy sludge – drawing comparisons to Neurosis, Yob, Isis, Deftones and Cult of Luna, while forging a sound distinctly their own.
