Portugese alternative rockers Dapunksportif have just released the latest single »Daily Grind« taken from their sixth full-length album, »Rock’N’Roll Salvation«, out on April 10th, 2025 via Anti-Corpos Records.

Dapunksportif has just released »Daily Grind«, the latest single from his sixth studio album, »Rock’N’Roll Salvation«, now available on all digital platforms.

This new theme succeeds the singles »Rock’N’Roll Salvation« (released on March 17) and »Analog Player In A Digital World« (on June 25), thus closing the cycle of singles of the album released on April 10 by Anti-Corpos Records. The music video for »Daily Grind« was made by Ricardo Rodrigues.

With sharp guitars, intense pulse and the rawness that defines the identity of the band, »Daily Grind« dives into the exhaustion and pressures of everyday life. “Daily grind it’s killing me / slowly, slowly / little by little,” sings Paulo Franco, in a chorus that echoes the tension accumulated by the frenetic pace of the days. The song balances aggressiveness and melody, in a visceral portrait of emotional erosion caused by routine, crossing verses such as “nervous breakdown / system failure / on your knees / and pray for the savior” with a raw and direct intensity.

Formed in 2004, in Peniche, Dapunksportif are composed of Paulo Franco (voice and guitar), João Guincho (guitar and choirs), João Leitão (bass), Vicente Santos (keyboards) and Fred Ferreira (drums). With more than two decades on the road and six published albums – »Ready! Set! Go!« (2005), »Electro Tube Riot« (2008), »Fast Changing World« (2012), »Soundz Of Squeeze’o’phrenia« (2018), »Old, New, Fast’n’Slow« (2022) and »Rock’N’Roll Salvation« (2025) – the band has consolidated itself as one of the most consistent and energetic names in Portuguese rock.

Recorded at Namouche studios in Lisbon, with production by prestigious Alain Johannes – producer linked to names like Queens of the Stone Age, ELEVEN, Chris Cornell or Them Crooked Vultures – »Rock’N’Roll Salvation« confirms the band’s firepower and its uncompromising identity: intense riffs, unbridled rhythmic section and a stage energy that remains intact over the years.

»Daily Grind« is the last single from this album that reaffirms the place of Dapunksportif in the national rock panorama, with the urgency and vitality that has always defined them.
