Zyrion is an experimental stoner rock band from Kragujevac, Serbia. Raw energy and emotion that combines Balkan traditional etno rhythms with heavy stoner riffs.
The band comments: “We proudly present our full album »Zyrion«, out everywhere. Heavy riffs combined with Balkan ethnic rhythms, psychedelic melodies combined with a variety of vocals – a true representation of our band and our music.
The meaning behind our cover art:
Old gravestone: Representing the old Balkan gravestone on an old Serbian graveyard with carved runes.
Three simbols: three Zyrion runes representing the three previously released singles from the album.
Perunika: Symbol of lightning and divine power, Perunika embodies the fierce energy of the storm and the protection of the gods.
Kolovrat: The Kolovrat turns eternally, a solar symbol of life, rebirth, and the unending cycle of light and darkness.
Mountains of doom: in the background representing our journey through nature and the song of the same name.
Five skulls: represent five band members, and the afterlife of our music buried underneath the rocks.”
