Swedish blues/doom metal band Wizdoom premiere new single and music video »Plagues«, released on June 26th, 2024.

Says the band: “Our new single »Plagues« is available now!

Inspired by the gloomy feelings and stories when everything turns grey and dark in the fall season of Sweden. Music video based on live footage from our show at Uddeholmsladan this spring!”

“I would say »Plagues« is a song that crosses epic doom with a little bit of grunge. The track is pretty much based on one riff with some small changes between the different parts. This is inspired by some Alice In Chains stuff, I have always found it interesting how they build some songs with mostly one riff. It also start heavy, takes a break and then it goes heavier! The music video is live footage from our show this spring in Uddeholmsladan, finally we can share how Wizdoom looks live!” – Chris. D
