Swedish post-hardcore/noise-rock/shoegaze band Legbiter is back with their new EP, »Worms«, which will be released on November 21st, 2025 via Pelagic Records.

Legbiter returns after a lengthy hiatus with new single »Worms« – a raw collision of post-hardcore intensity and a strong 90’s atmosphere.
»Worms« channels both chaos and melody, creating an intense yet strangely hypnotic beat. Fans of Handsome, Quicksand, Fireside, Breach, Helmet and contemporary acts such as Superheaven, Narrowhead and Metz will find familiar echoes, while Legbiter add their own unique blend.
“This track is about decay and transformation,” the band explains. “It’s heavy and abrasive, but also about finding beauty in the different phases of life.”

Formed in 2015, Legbiter rose out of the Swedish hardcore/metal and noise rock scene of the 90’s when members Markku Hildén (former drummer of Cult Of Luna, Logh), Mattias Lindmark (former guitarist in Purusam and Sentinel 5) and Rikard Nordström (Sentinel 5) decided to get together again and set their sights on an open view on heavy noisy music, joined later by Viktor Ahnfelt (Quagmire), Jonas Eriksson Slove (Culkin) and Rickard Lindblom (Traktor/Lindblom & Lindblom).
Loud and frenetic, skimming off many styles, but not resting definitely in any one genre. Creating their very own blend of post-hardcore, noise rock, shoegaze, sludge rock or whatever they felt songs would benefit from. Topped with both shouted and more melodic vocals and a strong 90’s vibe – for fans of Handsome, Cave In, Barkmarket, Helmet, Jesus Lizard, Unsane, Quicksand, Fireside, Breach and contemporary acts like Superheaven, Narrowhead, Trauma Ray, Soul Blind the likes.
In 2017 they released their debut EP »Totes Meer«, a deep dive into »The Dead Sea« of the, sometimes involuntary, urban dwellers, followed by some live performances. In 2025 their new single »Worms« from the upcoming EP with the same was released on Pelagic Records.
