We’re shipping worldwide – every order is a big help for the band! Much love & thank you for your support!
Lyrically and musically, Power of this Song pays tribute to Blind Willie Johnson’s 1920 blues classic Nobody’s Fault but Mine. It’s the band’s way of honoring the roots of rock music and the timeless spirit that inspired it all.

Dirty Sound Magnet is Stavros (guitar, vocals), Marco (bass, backing vocals) and Maxime (drums).
They play together for more than 10 years and perceive music as something that is infinite. The band tries to have no boundaries when they create. This makes their music complex and rewards people that are ready to dive deep into their realm. The provocative lyrics will hopefully touch a nerve here and there.
Dirty Sound Magnet’s music will please fans of the golden Age of Rock music but also fans of more modern artists like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Damon Albarn, Tame Impala.
The creation of »Me And My Shadow« almost never happened. Just two weeks before the first recording sessions, frontman Stavros suffered a life-threatening poisoning. Half-conscious and surrounded by doctors, the first fragments of the album began to surface in his subconscious – visions carried by the light of music and the power of rock’n’roll.
Much of the record’s intensity and themes grew directly from this experience. Working on the album became both healing process and creative outburst, turning shock and struggle into sound. The result is a powerful statement, and the band now stands more inspired than ever – ready to share a spark of hope in uncertain times.
