Californian sludge metal band Die Healing returns with new single »Cannabis Maximus«

Ventura, California based sludge metal band Die Healing (feat. former members of Stonehelm & Bloodteeth) returns with a brand new single »Cannabis Maximus«, released on June 28th, 2026.

“The brainchild of Damien Brock, Die Healing is sludge metal band from Ventura, California formed in 2021. After leaving his first band Stonehelm, Damien had a vision of a different sort of sound that melded all of his favorite heavy influnces such as Sleep, Dystopia, and Black Cobra. He met with drummer, Aaron Fraser, in their previous band Bloodteeth and they instantly clicked. They played as a duo for three years making two EP’s but something seemed missing. They met bassist, John Riemma, in 2023 which completed the final missing piece to round out the sound it is today. They’ve played with bands such as Early Moods, Deathchant, Old Blood, Dr. Know, and Wormwitch to name a few.” — Weedian
