After two records, EP »Ocean Of Acid« and debut album »Tyhjiö«, psychedelic death/doom metal band KITA embarks on a new musical journey with a brand new single titled »Voyager III«, released on August 21. This single marks an introduction to their upcoming album »Ikuinen«, which will be released in November 2026 by Croatian label No Profit Recordings.

This nine-and-a-half-minute behemoth of a song takes the listener on a journey through space, without the comfort of a space suit. Reflecting the experimental spirit of psychedelic and progressive rock from the ’70s and colliding it with the most disgusting sludge doom, accompanied by contemporary dark soundscapes, KITA makes its own unique mark on the Finnish sung metal scene.

Jonne, KITA’s guitarist, vocalist, and synth player, says: “This song is an epitaph for humanity, the last words written on a golden plate, to send into the cold cosmic infinity. In all its doom and anger, the picture it paints from our species is actually beautiful, reminding us that the life on earth is the rarest, most valuable treasure in the universe.”

Since 2020, this four-piece band has managed to surprise metal connoisseurs across genres. KITA creates a unique blend of heavy doom and brutal sludge, illuminated by rich and complex rays of psychedelia. This leads listeners into the sonic equivalent of space-time collapsing into the unknown, just like the universe itself. This well-rounded act commands the stage in their live performances, creating intense atmospheres with analogue synthesizers, psychedelic visuals, and ritualistic elements. After the release of their second full-length album »Ikuinen«, KITA will embark on a European tour, so make sure to follow their social media for updates.
