Tours, France based instrumental post-rock/noise trio Oöhna Call has announced their new album, »eKKo«, which will be released on September 25th, 2026 via Bitume Prods.

“You have to leave now and never come here.”

This phrase, endlessly repeated on the opening and closing tracks, works like a mantra – an attempt to escape the human condition, which seems to repeat itself infinitely. It is on this fundamental idea that Oöhna Call based the writing of this new opus.

The result is eight instrumental pieces that poetically, sonically, and melodically explore the theme of echo. The album builds a rich tapestry of resonances, loops, and reminiscences, blending organic and synthetic textures.

Born from a wide range of influences that have deeply shaped the members of Oöhna Call, »eKKo« sometimes evokes the worlds of Mogwai, Swans, and even Neurosis.

The entire album was recorded in just two days, under near-live conditions at Line Check Records studio, in order to preserve its raw intensity.
