AcidSitter is a Krakow-based Polish-Japanese lineup combining neo-psychedelia, garage rock, and stoner-punk dynamics. The group debuted in 2023 with the album »Make Acid Great Again« and subsequently released the concept album »Escape From Egoland« (2025).
AcidSitter will tour Poland in November. As part of the tour, they will perform at the Inside Seaside festival in Gdańsk, where Maciek Cieślak (Ścianka) will join them on stage as a guest. The tour is organized by Alicja Pasiak, founder of the blog Pasem po czole.
The track »Hall Of Mirrors« analyzes the mechanisms of disinformation, algorithmic content replication by bots, and the loss of empathy in the face of digital noise and the influx of armed conflict imagery. Lyrically, the text touches on the theme of depersonalization, referring directly to the correspondence “The Yage Letters« by William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg. The sound structure of the track relies on contrasts – heavy, distorted parts alternate with dreamlike psychedelic compositions.
