Swedish traditional doom metal trio Dread Ogre (with members of Stonegriff, Grand Magus and Spiritual Beggars) premiere »I Sentence You«, »Justice. Honour. Courage.« and »Ready For The Storm« from their debut album, »Get Ready For The Storm«, set to release this Thursday, July 25th, 2024 via Metal On Metal Records.

The second of our July 25th releases out at Headbangers Open Air festival is the debut album of Dread Ogre »Get Ready For The Storm«. They arose from Stonegriff’s ashes, led by their charismatic singer with his trademark ominous rasps, wails and high-pitched screams. The Swedish traditional doom metal trio features also Grand Magus and Spiritual Beggars drummer, Ludwig. Their bare-bones style is effective in its simplicity, and despite the often trudging tempos, there’s a distinct metallic edge in this thunderous, molten and evil doom metal slab. The album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by the Andy LaRocque of King Diamond fame. Fans of Stonegriff (obviously), Grand Magus, Krux, Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Pentagram, Saint Vitus and Iron Man need to check it out!
