»A Church For The Damned« is the fifth full-length release from Doom’s Day.

Expanding on a well-established sonic identity, the album fuses doom-laden atmosphere, gothic melancholy, and classic heavy metal storytelling. It unfolds like a corrupted mass, shifting between slow-burning passages and moments of ritualistic intensity.

The title track opens the record and sets the tone for the descent that follows – a world consumed by fire, conviction, and decay. At its core, the album explores the collapse of faith and the shadows that rise in its place.

Available as a limited digipack CD for those who still value physical editions and the ritual of holding music in its tangible form.

For fans of Paradise Lost, Ghost, and Candlemass – with songwriting in the spirit of Mercyful Fate.

Doom’s Day is an occult heavy metal project driven by a singular creative vision, blending traditional heavy metal with doom-laden darkness and thrash intensity.

Following the release of its debut album »The Unholy« in 2012 via PRC Music, Doom’s Day evolved into a full band, performing live and sharing the stage with acts such as Primal Fear, Blaze Bayley, and Anvil. Over time, the project expanded in the studio, reaching up to five collaborators on its latest release in 2019.

With »A Church For The Damned«, Doom’s Day delivers its most focused and authentic statement to date – channeling the spirit of classic heavy metal with a darker, more ritualistic edge. Stripped down, heavier, and more atmospheric, the album embraces an old-school production approach while pushing into more progressive territory.

The project is now primarily studio-focused, emphasizing songwriting, production, and artistic freedom over live performance.
