A dive into the void, a journey among the stars. Echoes Of Gehenna is an atmospheric metal project with roots in doom, black and ambient.
Probing the vast expanses of nothingness, Echoes Of Gehenna envisions the far and unknown reaches of space. Distant cosmic nebulae, strange physical anomalies, a realm of dying stars, of tranquil beginnings in stellar nurseries, the screaming primordial void as well as ruins of long forgotten civilizations are all part of the passage. Taking inspiration from various fields like doom and black metal, atmospheric and ambient soundscapes as well as cosmic horror movies and games, the debut album delivers a cinematic blend of metal density, dark atmosphere and frail introspection.
