Hidden Gems & Guilty Pleasures: All Hell (USA)

All Hell (Black ‘N’ Roll/Thrash Metal/Punk, USA)

All Hell formed in Asheville, North Carolina in late 2013 and self-released their debut album, »The Devil’s Work« the following year. 2015 saw the release of the band’s second full-length, »The Red Sect«, via HPGD Records. All Hell made their proper label debut for Prosthetic with 2017’s »The Grave Alchemist«. This third album garnered much critical acclaim, and, along with lots of DIY touring efforts, saw the band perform at Shadow Woods Metal Fest, Decibel Metal & Beer Fest, Dark Lord Day, and Mass Destruction Metal Fest. In 2019, All Hell unleashed their fourth album, »The Witch’s Grail«, and embarked on tour with metallic hardcore legends Ringworm. Following this, they performed several more live dates and fest appearances on their own. Early 2020 saw the band hit the road with Black Tusk, as well as a short run of headlining dates right before the onset of the pandemic.

In the Fall of 2021, they returned to the stage, and were touring again by mid-2022. In early 2023, the band announced a partnership with Terminus Hate City Records and unveiled »All Hail The Night«. Comprising six tracks and featuring a guest appearance by Nathan Garnette from American metal legends Skeletonwitch, »All Hail The Night« is a potent fusion of the band’s past, present, and future. It is a declaration and a warning – All Hell have returned, and they are more vicious than ever.

All Hell vocalist/guitarist Jacob Curwen commented: “We’re glad to finally be able to share this new material with you all! Written and recorded in the midst of the pandemic, we wanted this release to represent the liminal space in which it was conceived. We decided to approach the brand new material with an air of urgency and directness akin to our early sound, while also resurrecting the older material and reinterpreting it through the lens of experience and the evolution of our style. The addition of our longtime friend Nate Garnette as a guest on several tracks elevated the record immensely, and we can’t thank him enough. Likewise, we owe much gratitude to Chris “Scary” Adams, who recorded and mixed the record, along with Joel Grind who mastered it.”

Blackened metal trio All Hell has just released »The Bleeding«, the first single from their upcoming album »Sunsetter«, due out October 10th, 2025 on Terminus Hate City.

A blistering, high-speed descent into vampiric hunger and ritualistic violence, »The Bleeding« offers the first glimpse into the apocalyptic narrative of »Sunsetter«, a concept album spanning millennia of exile, resurrection, and mythic doom. The track also features a scorching guest guitar solo by Nate Garnette of Skeletonwitch, a longtime friend and collaborator of the band.

Lyrically, »The Bleeding« places listeners in the mind of a predator, one of the cursed children of Cain, seeking blood offerings for a long-slumbering sire. The result is pure sonic ferocity, blending d-beat punk energy with the band’s signature blackened edge and occult atmosphere.

»Sunsetter« is the fifth full-length from All Hell, following a string of acclaimed releases including »The Grave Alchemist« and »The Witch’s Grail«.
