Sulphur And Mercury (feat. members of Misery Index and Spiritual Front) shares new music video for »Sulphur Eternal«

Finland-based classic metal act Sulphur And Mercury releases a video for »Sulphur Eternal«, the second single from their upcoming album due out next year via Time To Kill Records. Stream / share the single HERE.

Shot with a vintage bootleg B-horror aesthetic drawn from cult films of decades past, the clip combines evocative imagery with live footage captured during the band’s recent performance in Vantaa, Finland.

“»Sulphur Eternal« is our anthem,” the band explains. “We wanted to make a triumphant ode to the classics of metal’s yesteryear, but also a song we could call our own – a battle cry of sorts. Melodic passages and exultant choruses combine to make it an instant call to arms. Under the fist of Mercury, the sulphur legions unite!”

The single serves as a preview of the band’s first album, expected in early next year, with songwriting now in its final stages. Further live announcements are to follow soon.

Sulphur And Mercury is an occult heavy metal band founded in 2021 by vocalist Jason Netherton (Misery Index) and guitarist Francesco Conte (Spiritual Front, ex-Klimt 1918). Drawing from the darker end of 1980s metal – Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost, Satan, Sabbat – the band blends apocalyptic doom and NWOBHM melodicism into a sound steeped in haunting atmospheres and occult themes. Following their debut EP »Alchemia Prophetica« (Time To Kill Records, 2024), the band relocated to Helsinki and rebuilt around a new Finnish lineup – Kride Lahti, Tami Luukkonen, and Jaakko “Spider” Forsman. The 2025 singles »Summon The Seer« and »Sulphur Eternal« mark the opening of this new chapter.
