Smokemaster is a psychedelic rock band from Cologne, Germany. Their sound is influenced by The Doors, Colour Haze, King Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizard, Tibetan Miracle Seeds, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Wand, Jacco Gardner, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Tess Parks, 1000mods, Temples and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
»In The Temple« is even more diverse and creative than its predecessor, »Cosmic Connector«. Evocative neo-psych soundscapes blend with catchy ’60s rock tracks, creating multi-layered atmospheres that balance depth and lightness. The vocals of guest singer Jack McAfee (The Miracle Seeds) complement this perfectly.

The band expands its sonic palette with soundscapes crafted from everyday and natural sounds, which particularly enrich the jam sections. With »In The Temple«, Smokemaster once again delivers a colorful bouquet and charmingly demonstrates how organically diverse ideas, timbres, and emotions can be woven together on a modern psych-rock album. So there’s plenty to discover.
