Mysterious doom metal newcomers Moana have signed a deal with Electric Valley Records.

A mysterious new band has emerged from the darkness. Join us in welcoming Moana to the Electric Valley Records family.

No faces, no earthly identities. Only a shroud of impenetrable darkness and the heavy, fatal toll of Velvet Doom. The project crawls through the shadows to erect a sonic mausoleum devoted to the most enigmatic, magnetic, and revered entity ever to haunt Italian culture during the late 1980s and early 1990s: Moana Pozzi.

The band embraces the void of anonymity so that the altar may remain pure, consecrated to a single, absolute visual and spiritual focal point. Through a blind and total devotion that borders on ritualistic fanaticism, her figure is transformed and elevated to the status of a Goddess: an otherworldly deity destined to rule the abyss of desire and shatter the taboos of mortals.

This is not music. This is the celebration of her cult.

The single “Velvet Priestess” was written, composed, and performed by “Moana (Velvet Doom)”.
