»Vilvao« is the self-titled debut album by Vilvao, an instrumental trio from Bilbao that combines progressive metal and rock with post-rock, jazz and classical music in a work built around experimentation and compositional freedom.

Across seven tracks, the band develops an organic and constantly shifting instrumental narrative through odd time signatures, dynamic contrasts, heavy riffs, atmospheric passages and evolving structures. With no vocals to guide the listener, guitar, bass and drums share the weight of melody, tension and movement, giving each composition its own path.
