Capacopter stand for heavy, straight-up stoner rock: roaring amps, orange tolex, deep-tuned guitars and drums that hit hard. Their sound fuses the relentless rock of the ’70s with modern, detail-driven songwriting – packed with gripping hooks and massive riffs. Formed in 2021, Hannes, Andi, Jan and Jon began with loose jams that slowly turned into songs, shows and a sound that stuck.
Early releases like »Rebel Driver«, »Interdum« and »What Is Dead May Never Die« set the direction; with »Formula Mille« (2023) the tone became clearer. »600 Years« (2024) and »Half ’n Inch« (2025) marked the next steps – two releases that brought the band closer to the style they were aiming for. The single »Borderline Steal Circus«, released on November 7th, 2025, paved the way for Capacopter’s debut album, which came out on January 9th, 2026 – exactly five years after their first jam.
