German three-piece stoner punk band Fluster to release their debut EP »Ray Mouth« digitally on October 21st!

Hamburg, Germany based three-piece stoner punk band Fluster are gearing up to release their debut EP »Ray Mouth« which will be available digitally on October 21st, 2022.

The band already released »Fluster« and »Sit On Me« as singles, available now on all digital platforms.

Two years after their founding, the stoner punk trio Fluster from Hamburg, Germany will release their first EP »Ray Mouth«. The record will be digitally available on October 21st 2022. »Ray Mouth« was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Rockrecord Studio in Bamberg, working closely with audio engineer Michael Kropp.

The five mouths on the cover represent the five handcrafted songs which Fluster chose to show the world their musical ambition and style. The artwork was made by young illustrator and artist Katja Kropfhäuser from Erlangen, Germany.

»Ray Mouth« starts straight forward, punky and energetic with »Golden Days«. A music video for the title track is in the making and to be released the coming months. »Fluster« and »Sit On Me« continue with a little more ambition, before »Pandora« kicks in with heavier, doomy riffs. »Desert Skies« releases the tension and brings the record to its end in a quite light-hearted manner.

Biography:

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Vivien Hartmann and Lukas Worm meet in Hamburg and decide to go for some jam sessions. Little time passes and both are certain that from a few drinks and chords in the evening, a band must emerge. Soon, drummer Dennis Urbschat joins the party and Fluster are eagerly starting their songwriting process.
A year later, Fluster found their style. An amazingly dirty surf guitar in the center, driven by straight drumbeats and punky bass lines pave their way through the rehearsal space in Hamburg. Fluster feel inspired by the old legends of 90s desert rock, the even elder legends of heavy and doom metal and the latest hard rock heroes. Technical sophistication and extensive solos don’t belong here. The motto is handmade and rough, punky and danceable.

Since spring 2022, Fluster played their first gigs in their hometown of Hamburg and all across Germany. After their self-recorded first single »Elbe«, Fluster will release their debut EP »Ray Mouth« on October 21st 2022. Containing five original songs, »Ray Mouth« shines some light on the musical ambitions and preferences of the trio. With their first release finally in hand, Fluster aim to play the small and medium stages across Germany, until the time has come for a real LP.
