Greek doom/post-metal trio Sevengill unveils »The Last One« music video; new album »Penumbra« out now!

Athens, Greece based doom/post-metal trio Sevengill has unveiled new music video for the song »The Last One« taken from their sophomore album, »Penumbra«, which was just released on January 14th, 2026.

“Sevengills are mainly benthic in nature, cruising along the sea floor and making an occasional foray to the surface.”

Guided by their common understanding of the importance of music in their lives, the Greek post-metal band was formed in 2016 after years of musical experimentation. Sevengill self-released their debut EP »Atem« in 2019. However, the band’s first statement as a post-metal trio arrived in late 2022 with their concept album »Sea«. Sevengill released their second album »Penumbra« in 2026.

Their music, best described as minimal yet powerfully dynamic, is driven by the awe of Nature and Death, as well as the existential worries created by them.
