Doomed Confessionary: Nate Towle (Extermination Day)

Extermination Day is a doom metal/punk band hailing from Circle Pines, Minnesota.
Founded by guitarist/vocalist Nate Towle and drummer Jason Oberuc, Extermination Day introduced themselves with the EP »If Ingested, Consult A Mortician« (2020), followed by their crushing full-length debut »Be The Consequence« (2022). The album merged punk, garage rock, doom and heavy metal into a relentless soundtrack of modern chaos, while nodding to the band’s love of vigilante cinema, with direct references to cult films like The Exterminator.
In 2024, the lineup expanded to include Josh Raiken, Ryan Janssen, and Evan Blazing, joining founding member Nate Towle. Collectively, Extermination Day boasts a pedigree that spans acclaimed acts such as Suffering Hour, Satan’s Satyrs and Kult Of The Wizard. This powerful formation has only intensified the band’s energy, both on record and on stage, where they deliver performances that are loud, raw, and unapologetically dangerous.
Extermination Day have recently signed with Argonauta Records and are ready to bring their ferocious sound and larger-than-life attitude to the global stage. Fans of heavy riffs, wild energy and tongue-in-cheek chaos should prepare for one of the most unique acts in today’s underground scene.
