The tour starts in Ljubljana and ends in Velenje, with additional stops in Graz, Vienna, Maribor, Zagreb, and Győr.

Northern Revival, the most active band in the Serbian stoner scene, will be promoting their current album »Modification« (Geenger Records, 2022) with performances throughout the region. In addition to their released tracks, they will also play new songs they have been working on for several months in preparation for a new album.

The performance in Ljubljana (Friday, April 19th), which kicks off this spring tour, will take place as a pre-concert within the Antifa Fest. This festival, spanning five days, includes numerous punk and HC punk concerts as well as exhibitions, discussions, workshops, and much more. In other cities, Northern Revival will cross paths with various performers from Croatia, Slovakia, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, and Lithuania. For more information, click on the individual dates from the list above.

Ana Bjes, a well-known underground journalist, member of the association Novosadska alternativa, PR for many music events, booking agent, band manager for Northern Revival, and collaborator with many other bands in the Serbian alternative scene, will accompany the band on the tour. Throughout the tour, you’ll be able to follow her reports from each performance (along with a photo gallery) on the Helly Cherry Webzine website. This will be a sort of musical travelogue featuring stories about the cities, other bands, clubs, people, and everything else Northern Revival encounters during their multi-day journey.

About the band:
Northern Revival was founded in September 2012. To date, they have had over 200 performances across Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also have four releases behind them: EP »Mouth Full Of Dirt« (2015, Miner Records), album »Life Survival Tips« (2016, Nocturne Media), EP »Electric Power Supply« (2019, 1001 Stoned – digital distribution & Librarion Records – cassette release) and current album »Modification«. Following their development through releases, it is clear that this is a band that does not stop creatively reshaping and supplementing, experimenting and advancing in every sense. They have played at many festivals in the region, including Exit Festival, TLO Fest, Alparfeszt (HU), Barock Fest (RO), Gugulan Rock Festival (RO), Kunigunda Festival (SLO), Metal Enduro (RO), Boureque Feszt (HU), Naša Stvar (BiH), United Metal Festival, Festival Srpskog Podzemlja, Wind Rock Fest, Urban Muse Festival, Roll & Blues Fest, and more. They have shared stages with well-known bands in their genre, such as Sasquatch, Bongzilla, Planet Of Zeus, Greenleaf, Dopethrone, Nightstalker, 1000mods, and Lazarvs, among others.

One curiosity related to Northern Revival is that in 2017, in collaboration with the RazBeerbriga brewery, they created their own beer brand, Northern Revival pale ale. In 2023, as a standard part of their merch, they also promote and sell Northern Revival golden ale, a product of collaboration with the craft brewery 6th Street Brewery from Kula.
