Westmanland, Sweden – Rising from the shadows of Scandinavia’s doom underground, Swedish doom/stoner metal band Hexjakt will release their colossal new single »Monolith« on October 1st. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming debut full-length, and it cements Hexjakt as one of the genre’s most promising new voices.
Forged in 2024, Hexjakt crafts heavy, atmospheric doom steeped in crushing riffs, haunting textures, and introspective weight. Rooted in the traditions of Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, and Conan, their sound balances classic doom foundations with a bleak and modern edge. Lyrically, »Monolith« dives deep into themes of the occult, human fragility, and the vast unknown, echoing the band’s commitment to exploring despair, mystery, and transcendence.
