Listen to Bone Church’s new classic rock ballad »Deliverance«!
Their forthcoming sophomore album »Deliverance« is Bone Church’s boldest step yet into the heart of classic and hard rock: an album built on big hooks, anthemic songcraft, and the kind of radio-ready swagger that would’ve ruled the airwaves in 1977. Written primarily in 2019 and 2020, this record trades their debut’s doom-laden expectations for soaring, blues-soaked riffs and sing-along choruses taken to new heights by Jack Rune’s gripping howls. “You’ll still hear the Sabbath influence, but you’ll also hear ZZ Top, the Allman Brothers, Santana, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name a few. These songs are meant to be sung along to,” says lead guitarist Dan Sefcik.
Lyrically, Bone Church remains steeped in their signature themes – apocalyptic visions, Luciferian power struggles, and the eternal battle between light and dark – but this time, they balance the weight with raucous tales of life on the road and the pure, uncomplicated joy of rock ‘n’ roll. “We’ve juxtaposed those heavy themes with lighthearted fun as well. We didn’t want this record to be all doom and gloom. Overall, we think it’s our best work yet,” he adds.
»Deliverance« is a thunderous rock’n’roll exorcism, a Molotov cocktail hurled at the gates of genre. Crank it and howl along: this is their reckoning and it’s coming this fall on Ripple Music. Don’t miss the previous single »Bone Boys Ride Out«!

Bone Church formed in 2016, rooted in the era when rock shed its skin to embrace the dawn of heavy metal, yet never lost its blues-soaked soul. Their sound is built on the bedrock of legends like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd – blues-laced, heavy, and drenched in psychedelia.
Horror, the occult, and folklore bleed into their music as vividly as their love for that bygone sonic alchemy. Call them Doom, Stoner, or Proto-Metal if you must – labels crumble under the weight of their riffcraft. Above all, they worship at the altar of the song. Their self-titled debut EP (2017) earned rave reviews, clinching #2 on The Sludgelord’s Satan’s Dozen: Best Unearthly Hymns of 2017.
Signing with Ripple Music in 2019, Bone Church unleashed their first LP, »Acid Communion« (March 2020), hailed by critics and landing #4 on the Doom Charts. Demand surged – their debut EP was reissued on vinyl with two live tracks, selling out fast. Between relentless Northeast shows alongside icons like Pentagram, EyeHateGod, The Obsessed, and Mothership, they carved out their sophomore full-length in 2021. That same year, they stormed Texas for their first tour, leaving their mark as standouts at the inaugural Texas Ripple Fest.
