On »Nell’abisso del mio io«, Wojtek sound more urgent, more exposed, and more deliberate than ever. The EP, released on April 16, 2025, via Violence In The Veins, Shove Records and Teschio Dischi, is four tracks of weight, tension and catharsis, rooted in post-hardcore but shaped by sludge, doom and noise.

Recorded live to preserve its raw edge, the record moves between moments of sheer heaviness and others that feel almost fragile. Lyrically, it’s an exploration of collapse, personal, emotional, spiritual, but also of what can emerge when there’s nothing left to protect.

Wojtek was born in 2019 in Padua, northern Italy, from 5 musicians previously involved in different local bands. The arsenal of the combat bear consist in a muddy groove metal with a dark and gloomy taste, including glimpses of doom, stoner and noise.
