Michael Rudolph Cummings (Backwoods Payback, Boozewa, All Else Failed) announces European tour this November!

Michael Rudolph Cummings (mRc) returns to Europe this November for a run of solo acoustic shows across Switzerland, France, and Luxembourg. Known for his work as a solo artist and with bands Backwoods Payback, Boozewa, and All Else Failed, he has toured alongside Amigo The Devil, Royal Thunder, and Pentagram, with appearances at Roadburn, Hellfest, and DesertFest London. The Coatesville, Pennsylvania singer-songwriter steers his solo project into outlaw country and folk/blues rock territory while still carrying the dark, doom ‘n’ gloom and punk edge of his other bands.
Says Cummings: “I am very excited to be heading back to Europe for a more intimate run of shows this November. After supporting BoySetsFire and Strike Anywhere last year on their European Tour, I have been planning these dates. Can’t wait to play some new songs, some old songs, see some old friends and of course make some new ones along the way…. see you soon!”

Michael Rudolph Cummings is a lifer. Touring the world as the vocalist/guitarist for Backwoods Payback, the drummer of Boozewa, and the synth player/vocalist of All Else Failed, Cummings has been there and done that. All of it. Literally.
No matter the band, when playing live he has always been known for his intensity and ability to connect to every person in the room. Whether it’s a festival overseas or a coffee shop in small-town USA, he leaves a little piece of himself everywhere he goes.
mRc (as he is also known) solo material is equally dark but at times subdued in volume and temperance, recalling the ditch-trilogy era of Neil Young and the slower moments of Townes Van Zandt.
His latest released, »Money«, arrived in late 2024 and features Dale Crover of the Melvins on drums, Mlny Parsonz of Royal Thunder on bass, along with a who’s who of independent artists (members of The Boils, All Else Failed, Duffy’s Cut & more). It’s the follow-up to »You Know How I Get«, released in 2022 via the renowned independent label Ripple Music.
