New Zealand’s dark metal act Light Field Reverie return with a brand new single and new permanent lineup!

Dunedin, New Zealand based atmospheric gothic/doom metal band Light Field Reverie feat. Heike Langhans (Remina, ex-Draconian), Mike Lamb (Remina, Sojourner) return with a brand new single »Ender«.

»Ender« is the first new LFR track since they released »Another World« in 2020 and showcases their new permanent lineup with the addition of bassist Francis Shaun Dodds and drummer Shayne Roos.

Their second album will be released in the latter half of 2026 and all proceeds from this single go towards the making of it.

Says the band: “We’re proud to announce that we’re reviving LFR after a very quiet 5 years with a brand new permanent lineup and a new single! We’re joined by our very good friends Francis Shaun Dodds on bass and Shayne Roos on drums. Both are excellent musicians and have been in bands with Mike going back as far as 2008, so we’re incredibly excited about this new era of the band.

Alongside the new lineup, we have a brand new song »Ender«, available at our Bandcamp right now: lightfieldreverie.bandcamp.com.

It will be available on streaming services sometime in the next week, and is the first single from our second album due later on in 2026.
