Born from a love for stoner/doom, Hazing Lungs, based in Porto, Portugal, fuse heavy, feedback-laden riffs with psychedelic textures and guttural vocals.

Influenced by Weedeater, EyeHateGod, Electric Wizard, Sleep, and Bongzilla, the project crafts a hypnotic sonic journey that oscillates between the epic, the absurd, and the ironic.

Hazing Lungs present »The Great Mycelial Expansion«: an over the top epic sci-fi doom saga about the Psilocybians, an ancient, sentient fungal race. From deep space, they spread their Mycelium that not only connects and expands minds, it consumes them.

As the Network expands across worlds and stars, its promise of transcendence reveals itself as domination. Culminating in the Mycelium growing too vast for reality itself, light drains and the universe finally rips apart under the weight of the hive.
