Riverbank, California based gothic/doom metal project Midnight Worship by members of Sombre Holiday and Freezing Terror is back with their third studio album, »Remember The Dawn«, which was just released on February 6th, 2026.

With »Remember The Dawn«, Midnight Worship delivers a towering, meditative journey through Scripture, silence, and sound. Spanning just over 50 minutes across three expansive compositions, the album blends progressive metal’s weight and patience with the eternal resonance of God’s Word – inviting listeners to dwell, wrestle, and ultimately hope.

Forged by members of Sombre Holiday and Freezing Terror, »Remember The Dawn« is not background music. It is an immersive experience, where slow-building riffs, atmospheric passages, and crushing crescendos mirror the vastness of the night sky and the intimacy of prayer whispered in darkness.

The Day The Stars Were Born (17:42)
Opening the album with awe and magnitude, this track meditates on creation itself. Drawing directly from Psalms and the prophets, it captures the moment when God merely spoke – and stars burst into existence. Vast, celestial textures collide with heavy, deliberate movements, reflecting both divine power and reverent wonder.

A Distant Desert (17:26)
The album’s darkest chapter, this song inhabits the cries of the psalmist – exhaustion, loneliness, and relentless pleading in the night. Based largely on Psalm 88 and related laments, it is raw and unfiltered, portraying faith that clings even when “darkness is my closest friend.”

Remember The Dawn (15:20)
Rising slowly from the depths, the title track points toward hope that is certain, though not hurried. Drawing from Isaiah, Hosea, and the Psalms, it proclaims the promise that night will not last forever – that joy, light, and glory arrive as surely as the dawn.
