Doomed Confessionary: Jim, Nick & Brian (Fuzzrider)
Athens, Greece based heavy blues trio Fuzzrider is a newly founded musical project from Jim Lord (Lord 13, Madleaf). The rest of the band is made up of familiar old mugs from the Greek rock scene: Nick Giannoulis (One Man Drop, Blame Canada, Nochnoy Dozor) on bass and Brian Veletzas (Captain Brain) on drums.
Heavy sound, smooth and dirty blues chords, groovy beats and intensely orgasmic 12-bars that take you on a journey through the desert, Fuzzrider’s debut album is the new diamond in the rough of the Greek rock music scene and for certain is a band that’ll keep us busy for a while.
Fuzzrider’s self-titled debut album was released on April 30th, 2023. Available now on limited edition vinyl, CD and digital.
Can you say a few words about your band?
We are a heavy blues trio from Athens/Greece. We have been together as a band for 4 years. We have just released our debut album.
What was the biggest challenge for the band last year?
Make it on time…hahaha
What can you be most proud of last year?
Our debut album.
What was your biggest regret?
No remorse, no regrets.
What was the best concert/tour last year and why?
At a bar in Athens called Bad Tooth, because of the energy of the crowd!
What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
The big love and the support that we have received , especially from the United States and Europe.
Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
TBA soon. We are making plans for a European tour.
What are your plans for the this year as a band? What do you personally want the most?
We personally want to play our music live, so as we mentioned above touring.
